Werkstätten:Tag 2008: Last-Minute Registration is Still Possible
The European congress of workshops for adapted work, the „Werkstätten:Tag 2008”, is nearly booked out: To this day, more than 2.200 participants have already registered for the three day congress, taking place form 24 – 26 September 2008 in Bremen.

On 25 September, participants can choose between more than 80 workshops, covering all matters of the disability sector. The topics reach from ethnical debates on the importance of human value to the future of different models to integrate more disabled persons into active life. Education, the empowerment of human resources in workshops and economical and legal circumstances for the employment of persons with disabilities are discussed as well. The conference language is German, although thirteen workshop are interpreted into English. These workshops are take place at the Europa:Tag, taking place in Bremerhaven. There, work will be combined with a very beautiful conference venue.

AG 6:06, 11.00 to 12.30 „Clearing – A Means of Navigation” by Hermann Mader,

AG 6:08, 14.30 to 16.00 „State Aid for the Employment of Disabled and Disadvantaged Persons” by Luk Zelderloo,

AG 6:11, 14.30 to 16.00 „Education and Recognised Professional Qualifications for Persons with Disabilities in Austria” by Josef Stockinger,

AG 6:13, 14:30 to 16:00 „Participation in Working Life - Workshops for Adapted Work in Austria“ by Franz Wolfmayr.
