Bavarian Prime Minister takes over the patronage of the “Werkstätten:Messe 2009”
In a letter to Günter Mosen, chairman of BAG WfbM, the Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer has confirmed his patronage of next year’s workshop fair “Werkstätten:Messe 2009” in Nuremberg from 19th to 22nd March. In his letter he wrote: “I very much appreciated your request to take over the patronage of the ‘Werkstätten:Messe 2009’. I regard it as a sign of affection and esteem. I am glad to accept this honourable task.”
Due to previous engagements, Horst Seehofer will not be able to attend the opening ceremony of the workshop fair on Friday, 20 March 2009. The Bavarian state chancellery will announce which Cabinet member will represent him on that occasion at a later date.
The BAG WfbM considers the confirmation of the Prime Minister also as a recognition of workshops’ performance in integrating persons excluded from the labour market due to their disability. They are very pleased about the great commitment of the Bavarian state government.
