As in the previous years, more than 90 lectures covering all aspects that are relevant for adapted workshops, like workshop management, funding, innovative occupational training and work concepts for disabled persons in Germany and Europe.
This year, the Workshop:Fair’s special European guest country will be Switzerland. Swiss colleagues will offer an overview of the concepts and products of workshops for adapted work in their country. Workshops from Croatia, France, Ukraine and Hungary will also be present at the fair. A complete list of exhibitors is available (only in German) at www.werkstaettenmesse.de
. On Friday, 12th of March, a discussion forum called „Forum Europe – Integration in Europe and Occupational Services in Comparison” will be held from 14:00 until 17:00 hours in Room Kairo. Service providers in the field of professional rehabilitation from Belgium, Italy, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Greece, the Netherlands, Ireland and Germany, will be given the opportunity to compare national concepts and to identify common approaches for the participation of disabled persons in working life.
On this occasion, Mr Johan ten Geuzedam, head of Unit for the European Union's Integration of People with Disabilities at DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, will present the new strategy of the European Commission for the inclusion of disabled persons in working life and society.
